Actor Mohit Baghel, Who Worked With Salman Khan In Ready Dies At 26

Actor Mohit Baghel died of cancer at the age of 26 in his hometown Mathura. He worked in movies like Ready, and Jabariya Jodi. His character Chote Amar Chaudhary in the film Ready with Salman Khan was famous. Dream Girl director Raaj Shaandilyaa along with his co-actor from the movie Jabariya Jodi Sidharth Malhotra, and Parineeti Chopra, took to social media to condole his death.

Raaj Shaandilyaa told PTI that Mohit passed away on Saturday morning in his hometown Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. Raaj told,

“He is gone too soon. He has been undergoing treatment for cancer in AIIMS hospital in Delhi since six months. I spoke to him last on May 15 and that time he was ok, he had started recovering. He stayed with his parents and elder brother in Mathura. I learnt about his demise from a common friend, who said he passed away today morning at his residence,”.

Later, Raaj Shaandilyaa took to micro-blogging site Twitter and wrote an emotional tweet. He wrote in Hindi,

Mohit, mere bhai itni jaldi kya thi jaane ki? Maine tujhse kaha tha dekh tere liye saari industry ruk gayi hai. Jaldi se theek hoke aaja, uske baad hi sab kaam shuru karenge. Tu bahot achi acting karta hai. Agli film ke set pe tera intezaar karunga…. aur tujhe aana hi padega. Om Sai Ram

Actor Sidharth Malhotra also expressed grief on the demise of Mohit Baghel, he wrote,

“Really shocked to hear this news.. Mohit was such a young, happy, funny & talented guy.. We just shot a whole film together! Upsetting news, my prayers with his family”

Mohit was battling with cancer for some time. He was staying with his family at Mathura. But at just 26, he left the world. It is not an age to go. We will miss you, Mohit Baghel. May your soul Rest In Peace.
