6. The Andes, Bolivian Altiplano
The Andes are the world’s longest continental mountain range, and its range is 7000 km long, a height of about 4000 m and 200 km to 400 km wide. It covers seven South American countries, such as Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, and Argentina. The two main ranges of Andean range among the several ranges that occur over its length are the Cordillera Oriental and the Cordillera Occidental. The best time to visit the Andes is between March and October; blue skies appear this season.
7. Reinefjorden, Norway
It is located in the Moskenes municipality in Norway. It extended for 3 km and lay between Hamnoya and Andoya. The Lofoten, a water stretch, seems pure blue, and peaks and valleys border it; the greenery is scattered over there.
8. Mu Cang Chai, Vietnam
Mu Cang Chai is a rural district in Vietnam. The Rice Terrace in Mu Cang Chai is recognized as the special landscape of Vietnam. It extends to 2200 hectares across the mountains. The stunning view of Rice Terrace makes it a tourist spot for visitors. A good time to visit a Rice Terrace is the beginning of October, when the rice starts harvesting.
9. Mount Fuji, Japan
Mount Fuji is the highest mountain in Japan, located on the island of Honshu. It is one of the country’s sacred mountains. The temples and shrines are located around and on the mountain. Therefore, it is commonly called “Fuji-san.” It was declared as the Heritage site in 2013.
10. The Matterhorn, Switzerland
The Matterhorn is a mountain made up of the Alps. The Alps are called “Peaks in the meadows.” The mountain straddles nearly 4480 meters on the border between Switzerland and Italy. It is the destination for the climbers.
