Reliance Jio has recently increased the prices of the recharge plans. But it has impacted the users. Over 10.9 million customers have left Jio in the second quarter. The main reason is the increase in the price of the recharge plan.
Talking about the plans, Jio’s average revenue per user rose from Rs 181.7 to Rs 195.1, while its 5G subscribers jumped from 130 million to 147 million. In addition, the net profit was increased to Rs 6536 crore despite the decline in the overall number of users. Hence, the decline does not appear to be a major concern for the company.
What India Mobile Network Experience Reports?
A recent report by Open Signal highlighted that Jio’s dominance of key areas was network speed coverage and consistency. The Indian Mobile Network Experience Reports revealed that Jio download speed reached an impressive 89.5 Mbps which is quite shocking for the competitors as well. Whereas compared to the competitors, Airtel followed with 44.2 Mbps, while Vi lagged at 16.9 Mbps. No doubt, Jio is more than double of both of them making it a top choice for the customers.
Jio has extensive coverage in India and even in the most distant areas. Jio is available everywhere. Millions of Indians have been connected because of the telco’s vast infrastructure. Whether it is rural or urban, Jio is making its connectivity stronger day by day.
Whether conducting business meetings or streaming live videos dependability is crucial to preserving a top-notch user experience. No doubt that Jio has outperformed its competitors and still experiencing good consistency with a network consistency score of 66.5%. It is quite impressive.
