According to company founder and CEO Bhavish Aggarwal at a client event hosted at Ola Future Factory in Krishnagiri (Tamil Nadu), the new S1X electric scooter comes in three variants: S1X (with a 2KWh battery), S1X (with a 3KWh battery), and S1X+ (also with a 3KWh battery but with more connected functions).

The S1X with a 2KWh battery type is priced at Rs. 79,999 for the first week and would be priced at Rs 89,999 after that, he said.

Bookings will begin immediately, and delivery will also begin in December, according to Aggarwal, who said that the entry-level electric scooter is intended for daily travels of 10-20 km.

 

S1X With A 3KWh Battery

The S1X variant with a 3KWh battery will be available for Rs. 89,999 for the first week, after which it will be priced at Rs. 99,999.

He stated that the variation could be ordered today and that deliveries would begin in December.

The S1X+ is also available for an introductory price of Rs. 99,999 for the first week, after which it will be priced at Rs. 1,09,999. According to him, customers can also book the vehicle immediately, and delivery will begin by the end of September.

 

S1X VS S1X+

According to Aggarwal, the S1X and S1X+ differ in software and connection features.

Moreover, The S1X has a range of 151 kilometers on a single charge and a top speed of 90 kilometers per hour.

“These scooters together represent the end of ICE age scooters,” he asserted, emphasizing the financial benefits of owning an electric scooter over an ICE counterpart.

Aggarwal stated, “We are working quickly and with a clear vision to support the country’s leadership in electrification.” We will achieve complete price parity between ICE and EV vehicles by developing fundamental technologies in-house and leveraging economies of scale, localized supply networks, and production engineering.” Ola Electric also unveiled the second generation S1Pro, which retails for Rs. 1,47,499 (ex-showroom). While reservations can be made currently, deliveries will begin in mid-September.
