Another place where women are not allowed to visit is a well-known temple that has been the subject of considerable debate. Women between the ages of 10 and 50 are not permitted to enter the temple, owing to the fact that the deity is celibate.
7. Okinoshima Island, Japan
Okinoshima, a sacred Japanese island, is a UNESCO World Heritage Site where women are prohibited due to Shinto traditions. Shinto is a blend of Buddhism, Confucianism, Taoism, and Chinese culture.
8. Soccer Stadiums, Iran
The Azadi Soccer Stadium in Iran is shown here. Even though Azadi means “freedom,” women are not permitted to enter the stadium.
9. Mount Omine, Japan
Mount Omine is one of Japan’s tallest mountains, with Buddhist monasteries dating back over a thousand years. On the other hand, women are not permitted to travel beyond a certain degree due to religious restrictions.
