PM Modi To Felicitate Team India For Winning The T20 World Cup; Schedule For Open Bus Parade In Mumbai, And More

Team India scripted history on 29 June 2024 by bringing the T20 World Cup home after 17 years of drought. It was the most memorable Saturday of June 2024 when Surya Kumar Yadav showed his epic fielding, Jasprit Bumrah took important wickets, Hardik Pandya got Heinrich Klassen and David Miller, and Virat Kohli made a match-winning half-century and all others contributed significantly at Barbados against South Africa. Team India won by 7 runs and planted the Indian flag on the Barbados field. Well, the match might be over but the sweet victory still lives in our memory. The Indian Cricket Team will be back in India with the iconic T20 World Cup. Here’s the schedule of the team for the open bus parade in Mumbai on July 4.

PM Modi To Felicitate Team India

After winning the World Cup on Saturday, the whole Indian unit, including the traveling Indian media, was trapped in Barbados for three days owing to Hurricane Beryl. A special airplane was organized by the board for the Indian players and their families, coaching staff, BCCI executives, and the country’s sports media. On Wednesday, they flew to Delhi on a charter flight from Grantley Adams International Airport. The Air India special charter flight AIC24WC, or Air India Champions 24 World Cup, took off at about 4:50 a.m. local time.
