4. Brian Krzanich
Brian Krzanich was the CEO of Intel. Recently he had to resign as he was found having a consensual relationship with an employee. This was against the terms and conditions of the company and he had to quit the job.
5. Steve Jobs
Time was quite hard for Steve Jobs when he was fired from the company that he founded. He founded Apple back in 1976 when he was just 21. After 9 years he got involved in a conflict with John Sculley who was the CEO of Apple back then. In an interview, he told how he felt after losing the job, “I was out — and very publicly out,” Jobs recalled during his famous commencement speech at Stanford University. He added, “What had been the focus of my entire adult life was gone, and it was devastating.”
6. Carol Bartz
Carol Barts was one of the most powerful CEOs of Yahoo Inc. the chairman of the company Roy Bostock fired her back in September 2011 on performance grounds. He was fired on the phone and she was sad about that she wrote “I am very sad to tell you that I’ve just been fired over the phone by Yahoo’s chairman of the Board. It has been my pleasure to work with all of you and I wish you only the best going forward.”
