Railways Run Festive Special Trains From Delhi To UP And Bihar For Chhath Puja

Railways Number 03255/03256 Superfast will operate twice a week, from November 23 to December 10 at 10:20 p.m., on Thursdays and Sundays, arriving at Anand Vihar Station, Delhi, at 03:00 p.m.

To celebrate the upcoming Chhath Puja celebration with their families, people from all over the country will be flying to their hometowns. As a result, they usually book their tickets in advance. To handle the increased traffic during the holiday, IRCTC Railways has announced that several trains will depart from the Anand Vihar railway station in Delhi. Furthermore, they’ll travel to Uttar Pradesh and Bihar, namely Gaya and Patna.

“Operation of three pairs of Puja special superfast trains is being started from Delhi’s Anand Vihar Terminal to Patna and Gaya,” stated Virendra Kumar, Chief Public Relations Officer (CPRO) for Sonpur.

Similarly, 03256 Superfast will leave from Anand Vihar for Patna at 11:30 p.m. on Fridays and Mondays from November 24 to December 11. It will reach Patna Junction at 5:20 p.m. the next day. The train will stop at Danapur, Arrah, Buxar, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction, Prayagraj, and Kanpur stations.

In the same vein, on Fridays and Mondays between November 24 and December 11, 03256 Superfast will depart Anand Vihar for Patna at 11:30 p.m. Further, it will arrive at Patna Junction on the following day at 5:20 p.m. The train will stop at the Danapur, Arrah, Buxar, Prayagraj, Pandit Deen Dayal Upadhyay Junction stations, and Kanpur.

Express Special Barauni-Yashvantpur (05215/05216): It will run every Saturday between October 7 and December 9 from Barauni to Yashvantpur and every Tuesday between October 10 and December 12 from Yashvantpur to Barauni.Saturdays at 13:20 is when train 05215 will leave Barauni. It will travel through Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, Hajipur, and Patliputra before arriving in Yashvantpur on Mondays at 19:00.
