In anticipation of the grand inauguration of the Ram Mandir in Ayodhya, the Uttar Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation (UPSRTC) is gearing up to launch direct buses from Noida to Ayodhya. With the Uttar Pradesh government under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath leading the charge, this move aims to facilitate the pilgrimage for devotees and tourists alike.
Direct Buses For Seamless Travel
To cater to the surge in demand during the temple’s inauguration, the UPSRTC Noida Depot plans to introduce direct buses to Ayodhya. Currently, there are no direct buses, and the challenge arises as CNG buses have limitations on covering extensive distances. An official stated that a CNG bus, on a full tank, can cover up to 500km, prompting the need for strategic route planning.
Overcoming Distance Challenges
Covering a distance of nearly 650km from Noida to Ayodhya, the Noida Depot plans to arrange a CNG filling facility in Lucknow to ensure a seamless journey for the pilgrims. This strategic move aligns with the restrictions on filling CNG from unauthorized fuel stations, ensuring safety and compliance with regulations.
Ticket Fare Structure Yet To Be Finalized
While the excitement builds up, the bus ticket fare structure from Noida to Ayodhya is still under consideration. The UPSRTC official assured that an official announcement regarding the ticket fares will be made once the final decision is made. The aim is to provide an affordable and accessible travel option for the devotees.
Increasing Buses Based On Demand
Responding to the growing demand, the UPSRTC plans to deploy one or two buses for Ayodhya initially. However, based on the evolving demand, additional buses will be added to ensure everyone has the opportunity to be part of this historic event. In a forward-thinking move, the Uttar Pradesh government. Under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath is also considering the introduction of electric buses to Ayodhya. Commencing operations on January 15, 100 electric buses will enhance the transportation facilities on the Dharma Path and Ram Path. Thus catering to the needs of pilgrims and tourists.
Seamless Connectivity With Additional Facilities
To manage the increasing footfall, the District Magistrate announced the initiation of golf carts and e-rickshaws. The authorities have meticulously prepared for the surge in pilgrims and tourists. Therefore ensuring efficient crowd management, temporary parking, and overall travel experience. After the inauguration on January 22, the focus will shift towards efficient crowd management for darshan and worship—introducing 100 electric buses. And the convenience of golf carts and e-rickshaws aims to connect Ayodhya through diverse transportation facilities seamlessly.
As Ayodhya prepares to welcome devotees and tourists for the historic Ram Mandir inauguration, the Uttar Pradesh government’s proactive approach ensures a smooth and memorable experience for all, from direct buses connecting Noida to Ayodhya to introducing electric buses and enhanced facilities. Thus, the festivities are set to be accompanied by convenience and modern amenities. So stay tuned for an enchanting journey to the heart of Ayodhya’s cultural and spiritual heritage.
