Veteran Actress Reema Lagoo, one of the favorite person to play a role of a Mother in Bollywood, passed away today on May 18th at the age of 59, due to cardiac arrest. She was known for playing mother's role to big stars like Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan.
The actress had been admitted to the Kokilaben Hospital in Mumbai at midnight. She had a complained of chest pain. Lagoo’s son-in-law Vinay Waikul said,
“She was complaining of chest pain so we took her to hospital around 1 AM. She passed away due to a heart attack around 3.15 AM. She was perfectly fine and had no health issues…so it is really shocking for all of us that she is no more with us.”
Reema Lagoo did many unforgettable roles in Bollywood. At the age of 30, when many actors hesitate to play roles of Father or Mother; she took a challenge to portray the role of a Mother. Some highlights of her outstanding roles.
