AirFiber is a wireless internet service that will be available for both office and home use. Moreover, it is expected to offer high-speed connectivity, with users able to manage the wireless 5G hotspot device via an app.

Further, the service will also allow users to set parental locks to block certain websites or devices on the network. Jio also promises that the service will be affordable and accessible to all to drive revenue growth in the untapped Indian home segment. Jio is expected to be a game-changer in the Indian internet market, which broadband providers have dominated.

Moreover, Jio AirFiber will allow users to access the internet anywhere in their homes or offices without cable and wires. The company announced the plans to launch AirFiber on September 19, the same day as the Ganesh Chaturthi festival in India.

How To Use The Service?

Customers must band connect the router box to a PowerPoint to use the service. Now, the device will draw a 5G signal from nearby towers and offer super-fast Wi-Fi internet at home.

The router will be able to offer internet speed up to 1.09GBPS speed. This is more than enough to deliver buffer-free video streaming. Initially, JioFiber will be launched in Delhi, Chennai, Mumbai, and Kolkata.

The Tariff plans are yet to be revealed by the company. However, Airtel has already launched Xstream AirFiber with plans starting at Rs 799.

In conclusion, the Jio AirFibre is a game-changer for all Indian households. It will provide a wireless router alternative. This product would be a cheaper alternative for all small-scale and middle-scale businesses and households. The launch is a part of Jio’s broader strategy to expand its offerings beyond the traditional intercom services. Do you use the Jio services? What do you think about them?
