There was a story that the Kalu was rescued by Patricia O’Neil, daughter of a British countess. Now he lives in a luxurious mansion in South Africa. Kalu became the richest ape in the world. His owner Patricia loves the animals very much and she added Kalu’s name in her will to receive $90 million. There is also a farm in Australia owned by Kalu.
6. Oprah Winfrey’s Dogs – $30 Million
Oprah Winfrey is known as a successful businesswoman, a charming television host, and a talented actress. Another important role she had in her hat is a mom of many dogs. She loved the dogs very much. Oprah had over 20 dogs but sadly the number is not the same. This richest woman has five dogs Sadie, Sunny, Lauren, Layla, and Luke and they are likely to receive a fortune of $30 million after her.
7. Gigoo – $15 Million
You might hear the story of golden eggs laying hen but there is a real hen called Gigoo listed among the wealthier pets in the world. She was owned by British publishing tycoon Miles Blackwell and inherited $15 million after his death in 2011. Apart from his part of his fortune to Gigoo, he also donated most of his fortune of $42.5 million to a charitable trust.
8. Trouble – $12 Million
A white Maltese named Trouble became the wealthiest dog in the world after her owner left a fortune of $12 million. Leona Helmsley was the owner of Trouble and she was the hotel owner, real estate tycoon, and billionaire in the United States. Her grandchildren were not agreed with her will and because of their dispute, the judge decided to give only $2 million to Trouble and the rest to her grandchildren. Sadly, Trouble died in 2011 at the age of 12 and his fortune has been donated to charity.
