Samsung Galaxy S24 Series Specs Revealed
The full specifications of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy S24 series handsets were disclosed in a post on X by tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks). After a content takedown request, the original media was quickly removed from the platform. However, 9to5Google took a screenshot of the specifications sheet before its removal.
All three models—the Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+, and Galaxy S24 Ultra—will be powered by Qualcomm’s most recent Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Further, according to the leaked specifications sheet, they have an IP68 rating for dust and water protection. The Ultra variant is anticipated to have a titanium frame, while the base-plus phones are rumored to have aluminum Armor 2.0 bodies. It is also anticipated that all of the phones will offer 8K-grade video recording.
There are rumors that the Samsung Galaxy S24 base model will have a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X full-HD+ panel; on the other hand, the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra might have screens with 6.7- and 6.8-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X quad-HD+ resolution, respectively. It is anticipated that every model will be able to provide 2,600 nits of peak brightness.
Samsung Galaxy S24 Series: Battery Life And Storage
The base Galaxy S24 model from Samsung is anticipated to have a 4,000mAh battery, while the Galaxy S24+ and Galaxy S24 Ultra are anticipated to have 4,900mAh and 5,000mAh batteries, respectively. It is reported that the phones will be available in violet, yellow, black, and grey color options. There are rumors that the vanilla model has 8GB of RAM and comes with 128GB and 256GB of storage. In the meantime, it is reported that the Plus and Ultra models will come with 12GB of RAM each and 256GB and 512GB of storage options, respectively.
Camera And More
It is expected that the 50-megapixel triple rear camera units of the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ would have up to 3x dual telephoto lenses. On the other side, the Galaxy S24 Ultra is anticipated to come with a 200-megapixel quad-back camera system. Moreover, the system would be able to accommodate a 10x telephoto lens.
According to a prior leak, the top-of-the-line Galaxy S24 Ultra model is anticipated to have an AI-powered feature. The feature would also enable users to remove subjects from movies. Additionally, the artificial intelligence support is probably going to improve video recording stability and exposure. It will further reduce graininess and improve low-light performance.
