The project gave employment to thousands of laborers, electricians, and masons. However, it will not remain as the tallest for long as India is planning to open the Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Memorial in 2021 on a 15-acre plot in the Arabian Sea. It will be around 212 meters or 695 feet that honors a warrior king.
