Most of the youth spoil their career and lives by campaigning for politicians in the name of caste. But they forget that the true caste is humanity. There is beauty in unity and peace.
It gives me immense pleasure when people help each other irrespective of their caste, creed, and color. It is an openly known fact that politicians create caste and religion feelings to fill their vote bank.
How much they try to divide us and rule, there will be always some people who use their brain. God created all of us to help and protect each other. These people of the Sikh community restores of our faith in it.
We all know that people of New Zealand faced the deadliest white supremacist attack in recent times. The terror attack on two mosques in central Christchurch on Friday which killed 49 people shook all of us.
Right from the Prime Minister to common people on the street, everyone stands in solidarity with the victims and their families. The Sikh community which is loved by worldwide for their love and kindness are also doing their bit to help the families of the shooting victims, in all possible ways.

Some Sikhs who are living in Auckland and working under an NGO called “Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen” to help those in distress.
The GNFK on Facebook responded to this appeal made by Muslim representative and urged volunteers to come forward to help the Muslim community in Christchurch to provide free food and transportation along with temporary shelter, emergency clothing, blood donation and financial help for funeral services, digging graves and organize langar for the people attending funerals and helping with other stuff.
The group thanked outpouring support they received and said that “Our various communities and groups truly embody the compassion and love that will need to prevail to heal the wounds of yesterday’s attacks.”
People thanked the community for being so proactive.
Guru Nanak’s Free Kitchen started in April 2017, when a group of like-minded individuals wanted to help needy in Auckland.
It’s not the first time and they have always taken active participation in helping victims of natural calamity like that of Kerala floods or feeding free food to Syrian refugees during Ramzan.
I hope this encourage and inspire people to help fellow humans in need.
