1. Finding Synonyms
If you want to search for the synonym of a phrase just use “~” between the words.
2. Missing A Lot Of Words
If you forget a lengthy phrase you can use the first and the last word and put “Around+(number of missing words) between them you will get the sensible results.
3. Use The Time Frame
To get the more accurate results, you can use the time frame just add the period of time at the end of your search word.
4. Quotation Mark With Phrase
If you know the correct order of the words, you can use the quotation mark before the phrase that you are searching for. It will eliminate the unwanted results.
5. Remove Unimportant Search Words
It happens a lot of time when you get the unimportant result. However, you can avoid the unimportant search words just by typing “- ” symbol before them.
6. Searching Using The Keywords
Sometimes, we do not remember the title of the article that we were reading. Well you can jump to the article if you know the keyword and the website name.
7. Either This Or That
A lot of times we have partial information about the name or term that we Google. To conclude, we do not get the desired results. But this will not be a problem next time you Google. Just use the symbol “|” and you will get desired results. Apart from it, you can use the word “Or”.
8. Use Of Asterisk
If you forgot about half of the information that you are searching, do not worry just use the symbol “*” at the end of your search and Google will understand that you have forgot the rest of the keyword and it will show you the related results.
9. Similar Websites
To search similar websites use “related:” before the address of the website and not to use space between them.
10. Searching A Title
If you are searching for a title which you forgot but you still remember a keyword, you can type “intitle:” before the search. Remember not to use space between “Intitle” and the keyword.
