Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif are all set to tie the knot on December 9 in Rajasthan. The three-day wedding celebration will be held at Six Senses Fort Barwara, known as Chauth Ka Barwara. It is a heritage property around 35 kilometers from Sawai Madhopur city in Rajasthan.
The preparations are already begun and are in full swing for one of the biggest celebrity weddings of the year at the lavish hotel in Sawai Madhopur district. According to the sources, the wedding rituals and festivities will start from December 7 with the Sangeet ceremony. It will be followed by Mehendi on December 8, and the marriage on December 9. The celebration will end with a huge wedding reception on December 10. The guests will start arriving from December 4 onwards. Vicky Kaushal and Katrina Kaif will arrive on December 6 and will depart on December 11 reportedly. Here are some of the photos of Six Senses Fort Barwara.
1. History Of Fort Barwara
Fort Barwara has a history dating back over 700 years. The fort was constructed in the 14th century by the Chauhans. It was later conquered by the Rajawat Dynasty in 1734. The fort was originally owned by a Rajasthani Royal Family. The Chauth ka Barwara Mandir is in front. Chauth Ka Barwara is famous as the old temple located on the hilltop ‘Chauth Mata temple.’ The fort has been restored and converted to Six Senses hotel.
2. Royal Luxurious Suites
According to the Six Senses Fort Instagram page, the resort has 48 suites. Each of the 48 suites reinterprets the regal ambiance of a bygone era. The East Wing overlooks the countryside, private walled gardens. While the West Wing offers views to Barwara village and beyond. It is designed in contemporary Rajasthani style, and subtly incorporates state-of-the-art technology, all are palatially proportioned.
3. Spa In Six Senses Fort Barwara
Located within the original women’s palace and adjoining temples, the spa will herald a new wellness benchmark for Rajasthan. Treatments and personalized programs are based on the preventative principles of Eastern medicine and result-oriented Western influences, with a signature range of products blended from indigenous essential oils, herbs, and clays.
4. Six Senses Fort: Culinary
As per the Instagram post, the fort has three restaurants. The post reads, ‘With a sustainable eye on everything we do, you’re invited to embark upon an inspired culinary journey. Three restaurants serving local favorites and international cuisine emphasize ingredients from our organic garden and neighboring farms, while bespoke cocktails and a serious whiskey collection compete for your attention in the bar.’
5. Cost Per Night At Six Senses Fort
At the Six Senses Fort, Barwara, the price per night starts from INR 75000 and goes up to around INR 5 lakh. The Sanctuary Suite at Six Senses Fort is priced the lowest. While Raja man Singh Suite is the costliest suit at the fort.
A dance troupe from Mumbai has already reached the venue. The group rehearsed on Katrina Kaif’s hit Bollywood numbers. Both the families are trying their best to maintain the secrecy and privacy of the function. Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal will be neighbors to Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma post wedding. Reportedly, the latter has two floors in the same building. As per the reports, Vicky had rented a luxurious and spacious apartment for the tenure of 60 months on the 8th floor.
