6. Onida
Onida entered the mobile phone market and successfully produced a wide variety of mobile handsets, including smartphones. However, with tough competition from brands like Samsung, Onida failed badly. Failing advertisement and internal management issues were also the reason for the downfall of Onida in the smartphone market.
7. Meizu
Meizu was another Chinese smartphone brand that entered the Indian smartphone market with its lowest possible price. But, unfortunately, the brand failed to connect with many audiences, thus making its exit from the Indian smartphone market.
8. LeEco
LeEco was one of the most interesting Chinese smartphone brands that made its way into the Indian market during the early rush of smartphone brands in India. However, due to high smartphone prices and rushed decisions in the market, LeEco had a sudden and quick exit.
9. Acer
Acer also dabbled a bit in the market but failed to have a major hold in the Indian market. So So So Acer went back happily to make affordable education-based personal computers.
10. ZTE
ZTE shared the same fate as Meizu in the Indian smartphone market. The entry and exit of the brand are unclear. The company was not much active in its customer outreach.
