Since the launch of Swachh Bharat Abhiyaan, no doubt, the cleanliness in our country India has been improved drastically. The cleanliness can also be seen in railway stations. Piyush Goyal led Railway ministry released the list of third-party audits and based on the latest survey of 2019 and provided the list of cleanest railway stations in India.
The survey was done by taking various parameters into consideration like solid waste management, energy management, liquid-based management and cleanliness activities among others. There are a total of 720 railway stations were part of this audit. As per the audit, in the top 10 list, there are 7 railway stations from Rajasthan. Let us find out which station topped the list of cleanest railway stations in India.

4. Jammu Tawi
5. Gandhinagar Jaipur
6. Suratgarh
7. Vijayawada
8. Udaipur City
9. Ajmer
10.Haridwar
If we talk about the dirtiest railway stations, there are 6 out of 10 railway stations from Tamil Nadu. The list in ascending order Perungalathur (Tamil Nadu), Guindy (Tamil Nadu), Delhi Sadar Bazar, Velacheri (Tamil Nadu), Guduvancheri (Tamil Nadu), Singaperumalkoil (Tamil Nadu), Ottappalam (Kerala), Pazhavanthangal (Tamil Nadu), Araria Court (Bihar), Khurja (Uttar Pradesh). The North-Western railway zone has been awarded the cleanest railway zone of 2019.
