The WEFFI ranking ranks the countries with its well-established education system and for the excellent performance in cultivating future capabilities. The aim of WEFFI is to measure and compare the effectiveness of different education systems in different countries on how the students are preparing for future demands. The goal of WEFFI is to create such an environment where students can develop better.
As per the WEFFI Ranking 2019, the skills that students need to develop include critical thinking, leadership, collaboration, problem-solving, creativity, as well as technical and digital skills. The index score of the countries is based on three dimensions; policy environment, teaching environment, and socio-economic environment. A total of 50 countries has been assessed in 2019 with 81.3% global youth aged from 15 to 24 and 88.3% of the world’s population overall.
According to the WEFFI ranking 2019, countries such as the United States Of America, the United Kingdom, France, and Russia dropped in the ranking from the previous year. While countries like India, China, and Indonesia came up in the WEFFI ranking. India was ranked 40 last year and it gained five-position this year and is at number 35. 10. Japan
