It allegedly started when an American train service provider Amtrak took to their official Twitter handle and described themselves in a one-word tweet, ‘trains’ on September 2, 2022, at 12:30 AM.

To everyone’s surprise, the tweet went viral in no time and took the internet by storm. The tweet garnered over 23000 retweets with over 184k Likes. Soon after, many organizations, actors, businesses, and users started tweeting similarly.

The US President, Joe Biden, joined the trend and tweeted a one-word tweet ‘democracy.’ NASA, the American organization, tweeted ‘Universe.’ Many notable companies and businesses, like ICC, WWE, Google Maps, Starbucks, and Domino’s Pizza, tweeted in a similar manner. Sachin Tendulkar and Ajay Devgn also joined the trend and tweeted a one-word tweets. Here are some of the popular one-word tweets.
