After seeing this video, it fears us to believe in mankind. I was literally horrified and afraid of boarding flight after watching this video. God created humans so that they help each other at times. But, where is that humanity?
The passenger was dragged by his hands on a plane by security officials and he is a doctor.
Yes, you read it right.
This shocking incident took place on April 9th on a United Airlines flight that headed from Chicago to Louisville in the US.
This Is What happened
The flight was “overbooked” by four people. After no passengers volunteered to give up their seats, security guards were called in and physically removed a man from his seat and dragged him off the plane. He was manhandled and dragged off from United Airlines flight.
The co-passengers were left horrified and took this to social media. Many commuters said the airlines offered $1000 and a hotel accommodation and were looking for one volunteer to take another flight to Louisville the following day as the flight was overbooked.
Social media outrages and asks to boycott United Airlines
After a serious backlash on social media which dominated Twitter Trend, the CEO came out and apologized. But it’s for “overbooking” and not for the misconduct.
United CEO said, ”I apologize for having to re-accommodate these customers. Our team is moving with a sense of urgency to work with the authorities and conduct our own detailed review of what happened.”
There were severe protests after the offical statement too.
One of the team members of United Airlines flight Oscar Munoz, United CEO, sent this letter to the employees and what he wrote outrages you even more.
Is this how you deal with customers? Did you forget that you are also another human? What if someone does the same to you?
