This Vande Bharat Express would travel between Patna and New Jalpaiguri in the coming days. The residents of the Seemanchal district will now profit the most from the functioning of this train. This train will go from Katihar to New Jalpaiguri via Kishanganj. Railways has published its schedule. While this train takes about five and a half to six hours from Patna to Kishanganj, it takes seven hours to get to Jalpaiguri. As a result, the connectivity between Patna and Seemanchal will improve. The Northeast Frontier Railway (NFR) provided a proposal in this respect.
The Railway Board has authorized the projected Vande Bharat Express from New Jalpaiguri to Patna. More trains from the Seemanchal region to Patna were requested. Railways has responded favorably to this demand by approving the projected Vande Bharat Express. With the introduction of this train, travelers traveling to Patna from Seemanchal would be able to finish their journey in less time.
The Schedule
This train will run every day except Tuesdays on a six-day timetable. It will only make stops in Kishanganj and Katihar, giving it a viable choice for people of Araria, Purnia, Katihar, and Kishanganj.
This train will depart New Jalpaiguri at 6 a.m. and arrive in Patna at 1 p.m. after stops in Kishanganj and Katihar. The trip from NJP to Patna will just take 7 hours. After departing New Jalpaiguri, this train bound for Patna will arrive at Kishanganj at 7 a.m. and Katihar at 8:30 a.m. On return, it will leave Patna at 3 p.m., stop at Katihar at 7:30 p.m., Kishanganj at 8:50 p.m., and arrive in NJP at 10 p.m.

The DRM of Samastipur has submitted a proposal for Vande Bharat in North Bihar. Anil Kumar Khandelwal, the General Manager of East Central Railway, will now accept it. According to a report in Dainik Jagran, the Vande Bharat train would operate from Sitamarhi, Darbhanga, Samastipur, Muzaffarpur, and Patliputra Station to New Delhi after receiving authorization from the Railway Board.

This will be the third semi-high-speed Vande Bharat Express to depart from Patna following the launch of the One Day Bharat service between Patna and New Jalpaiguri. Currently, Vande Bharat Express trains run between Ranchi and Howrah from Patna. Aside from that, during Diwali-Chhath Puja, the Railways ran a special Vande Bharat train between Delhi and Patna.
