When And Why Was The Security Guard Beaten?

Allegedly, the man, named Sahil, got into an argument with the security guard, Sadashiv Jha, over a parking space in the area. However, the argument quickly escalated into a physical altercation. The man was seen assaulting the security guard. The guard suffered injuries as a result of the attack. The incident was reported with a PCR call at 12:04 am at the Dwarka South police station, as confirmed by the Deputy Commissioner. Here is the video. Warning: Foul language in the video

However, it is unfortunate that a simple disagreement over parking led to such violence. A video has been circulating over the internet, where the guard can be seen covered in blood outside the house of the accused. Further, he was seen being confronted by Sahil’s parents and two men. On the other hand, Sahil’s parents were still trying to defend their son.

Medical examinations were held for both the victim and the accused. It stated that the guard suffered an injury over his left eyebrow. However, the nature of the injury was simple and blunt. Whereas according to Sahil’s medical report, he was under the influence of alcohol.

The police have filed a case against the man for assault. They are also conducting a further investigation into the matter. Journalist Deepika Narayan Bhardwaj posted on her X account. She stated,

“I just spoke to Mr. Ashish Dubey, SHO, Dwarka South. An FIR has been registered against this man. He has, however, not been arrested because sections charged on him are bailable – 323, 341, 506. MLC of the accused was done, and it shows high alcohol. Society is standing by the guard.”

It is important for everyone to remember that all individuals have the right to feel safe. The incident of a man beating a security guard over a parking issue is a disturbing reminder of the need for peaceful conflict resolution.
