Nita Ambani Appreciates Team India

Captain Rohit Sharma entered the stage with riotous appreciation and gave hugs to Nita and Akash Ambani. While expressing her obvious excitement, Nita Ambani asked the crowd to applaud him more vigorously, saying that “no shouting is good enough, no screaming, no cheering is enough.” She then called Hardik Pandya and Surya Kumar Yadav to the stage.

“There is one teenager we discovered. The person who made everyone lose their breath in the last over. He proves one thing: Tough times don’t last, tough people do,” Nita Ambani remarked for Hardik Pandya.

Mukesh Ambani, the chairman of Reliance Industries, shared the sentiment, praising the cricket players for representing India with pride. He talked about how it brought him back to the emotions of the 2011 Indian World Cup victory.

Every cricket player received a round of standing ovations from the Ambani family, friends, and other visitors present. Nita Ambani relived the national excitement as the Indian team emerged victorious from an almost unthinkable situation, recalling the thrilling feeling of the much-anticipated World Cup final victory and the intense last over of the game.  Due to travels, Jasprit Bumrah was unable to attend the sangeet. Nonetheless, Hardik Pandya, Surya Kumar Yadav, and Rohit Sharma were applauded by other Indian cricket players. Among them were MS Dhoni, K L Rahul, Ishan Kishan, Shreyas Iyer, and Krunal Pandya.
