A cab driver is seen catching a woman while she tries to jump off the bridge. Later traffic police came to rescue as they pulled the woman to safety. However, the reason behind the woman’s suicide attempt is still unknown.

Mumbai Police Commissioner posted,

‘Responding promptly to an attempt to die by suicide at MTHL Atal Setu, the on-duty officials, PN Lalit Shirsat, PN Kiran Mahtre, PC Yash Sonawane & PC Mayur Patil of @Navimumpolice jumped over the railing & rescued the individual saving her life. I request citizens to value the gift of life and not act on impulse in such circumstances. Never forget, your loved ones deserve better.’

Following the incident, the woman was taken to the Navi Mumbai police station, and her family was informed. Earlier this year, two incidents happened on the Atal Setu Bridge where a 43-year-old woman jumped in March and a 38-year-old engineer jumped in July.
