Actor Adah Sharma from The Kerala Story is reportedly involved in a road accident on Sunday. The Bollywood starlet rushed to her Twitter account to offer an update about the mishap shortly after it became widely known online.
Adah Sharma Updates Post-Accident
Adah Sharma assured her followers that the accident was “nothing major” and that she was recovering well. She tweeted,
I’m fine guys. Getting a lot of messages because of the news circulating about our accident. The whole team, all of us are fine, nothing serious, nothing major but thank you for the concern.”
The Kerala Story Is Already A Blockbuster
Death threats have also been made against Adah Sharma due to the current debate about The Kerala Story. A number of political parties and organizations have criticized The Kerala Story, alleging that it is not factually accurate and incites animosity towards the Muslim population. Mamata Banerjee, the chief minister of West Bengal, has imposed a ban on The Kerala Story across the region.
Despite all the controversy surrounding it, Adah Sharma praised the audience for helping The Kerala Story become a hit movie. She tweeted, “Discrediting my sincerity, mocking my integrity, threats, our teaser getting shadow banned, the movie getting banned in certain states, slander campaigns launched… But you, the audience, made #TheKeralaStory the no. 1 female lead movie the first week of all time!! Wowww! Audience aap Jeet Gaye. You won, and now we go international.”
In cinemas, The Kerala Story has been performing remarkably well. The movie is anticipated to surpass the Rs 130 crore mark within two weeks of its release.
