Colleen Ballinger, a renowned YouTuber known for Miranda Sings in her videos, has vehemently refuted claims that she groomed minors.

On June 28, Ballinger uploaded a video to her Colleen Vlogs YouTube account that refuted having immoral relationships. She used songwriting and ukulele playing to argue her argument, calling the accusations “lies” and “gossip” about her.

The 22-year-old said in a video that the 36-year-old groomed him when he was 13 back in April 2020. Numerous more individuals came forward and made similar accusations against Ballinger; some even claimed that she had made s*xual jokes with young people in group conversations. Finally speaking out, she made a video response to the accusations.

According to the “apology video”‘s caption, which was uploaded on June 29, 2023, “I do not condone or support any kind of online bullying or hate towards anyone. Ever.”  Ballinger took up a ukulele and made a 10-minute video in which she sings about the accusations made against her and contends that they are untrue rumors.

The accusations, according to the song, are a “toxic gossip train” traveling on “tracks of misinformation” and are a “one-way ticket to manipulation station.” Ballinger noted that there are “rumors that look like facts” and said, “Even though my team has strongly advised me not to say what I want to say, I recently realized that they never said I couldn’t sing what I wanna say.”

The comedian stated, “The only thing I’ve ever groomed is my two Persian cats.”

Further, the lyrics went, “I’m not a groomer, just a loser / who didn’t understand I shouldn’t respond to fans / and I’m not a predator even a lot of you think so / because five years ago I made a fart joke.”

Adam McIntyre Accuses

In 2020, Adam McIntyre, a young YouTuber, said in a video that Ballinger had an “inappropriate personal friendship” with him while he was around the ages of 13 and 16 and that her texts included her giving him lingerie as a joke. They had been texting one another for years. He further claimed that Ballinger granted him accessibility to her social media and that he assisted her with fresh ideas.
