A young firefighter, Karson Nutter, from northern Arizona, was arrested this week due to many recent arson attacks that the smoke eater allegedly started out of “boredom.” Read on to learn what boredom can lead to.

Karson Nutter, 18, of Ash Fork, acknowledged, byper the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office, to start at least seven of the eight fires that have erupted in Ash Fork and Coconino County since June 15.
Furthermore, investigators learned that Nutter, a volunteer firefighter with the Ash Fork Fire Department, claimed he lit the fires out of “boredom, retaliation against a former employer, [and] chasing a thrill.” Four of the arsons, according to the officials, involved structural flames.

Two of the eight fires occurred in vacant properties in the Coconino County neighborhood of Kaibab Estates West. Investigators said that during his admission of guilt, Nutter admitted to picking on some abandoned homes for being ‘ugly'”. Nutter gave a full confession regarding his involvement in at least seven of the eight fires on Thursday night, the sheriff’s office claims.
What Accusations Are Made Against Nutter?
Nutter acknowledged igniting all four fires in Coconino County, involving two fires that broke out away from the two abandoned homes on Forest Service Road 124. Nutter was officially taken into custody at the Yavapai Detention Center soon after midnight on Friday, according to jail records. The firefighter was apprehended and lodged in the Yavapai County Sheriff’s Office’s detention facility on three charges of setting a structure on fire, one of aggravated criminal damage, and five counts of filing false police reports. Furthermore, Coconino County is anticipated to increase prices. Moreover, according to a court database, CNN reported that his bond was set at $2 million on Friday.
