Marelle Sturrock, a primary school teacher, was found dead in her house after her fellow colleagues called the cops. Her partner, David Yates, is missing after the sudden death of her fiancé. Therefore, the police have launched a man-hunt to find the man.

Marelle Sturrock was a primary school teacher in Glasgow. She was also heavily pregnant with the baby due in June. All in the school loved her, so when she failed to show up at work without reason, her colleagues grew worried and decided to call the cops. The cops found her at home, dead. Along with her, it was a tragedy for the unborn baby as well.
Who Is David Yates?
David Yates is a former member of the band Nocturne Wulf. He quit the band in 2020 as he wanted to “focus on the family.” After leaving the band, he said a statement: “I made the difficult decision to step down as the singer. It will be sad news for some people; maybe others will be elated.” He also added that he wanted a puppy, for then he wanted to be in the band. Therefore, It was clear from his statements that he wanted a family.
David and her fiancé launched their open musical showcase on Facebook, which got more than 1,600 followers. The couple loved being on stage as well as on screen. They even performed together in the King’s theatre.
What Happened To Marelle?
On 25th April, the police found the pregnant 35-year-old dead at her home. The police sealed the area and taped it off, and forensics officers were pictured outside the house. The officers are investigating her sudden death and are on a search for her fiancé. They said they were treating Sturrock’s death as suspicious. Although inquiries are ongoing, they do not believe there is any risk to the broader public.
Reaction Of Her Colleagues
Marelle was a beloved teacher. Thus, her death came as a shock to everyone at her school. The Headteacher of Marelle’s school announced: “I know that this will come as a shock to our school community, and we will do all we can to support children, staff, and families through what will be a difficult and challenging time.” The school staff received help from educational psychologists, and the Ukraine flag outside the school was lowered to half-mast. Marelle Sturrock and her unborn baby’s death is being treated as unexplained, and inquiries are going on.
