Who Is Pratik Doshi?
Pratik Doshi works in the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO) as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD), specifically as the OSD for Research and Strategy. He has been a member of the PMO since 2014 and was named joint secretary in June 2019.
He comes from Gujarat and formerly worked as a research assistant in the Chief Minister’s Office during Narendra Modi’s time as Gujarat Chief Minister. Doshi keeps a low profile and avoids active participation on social media platforms. Pratik Doshi was an officer and staff member in the Level 14 pay band. His monthly base remuneration was Rs 1,57,600, according to the PMO website.
According to The Print, he is widely regarded as Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s main confidant, providing crucial insights and suggestions on appointments that require the Prime Minister’s assent.

Vangmayi and Pratik Doshi’s wedding was a low-key ceremony, with no VVIPs or significant political leaders invited to the private ceremony conducted at a hotel in Bengaluru, Karnataka. Only close relatives from both families were invited.
