The Appointment
A well-known Indian American professor named Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy has been named the Singelyn Family dean at Cal Poly Pomona’s College of Business Administration and Graduate School of Business (CPP). As a member of the California State University system, the university is among the most varied polytechnic universities in the United States. One of the most prominent business schools in the country, the business college has more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students.
Dr. Krishnamurthy will support more than 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students in his new position while enhancing the graduate program offerings and the college’s learning-by-doing philosophy.
About Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy
Dr. Sandeep Krishnamurthy has served as dean of the University of Washington Bothell’s School of Business for the entirety of its existence. He is also a significant factor in establishing a school of business.
After being appointed director of the UW Bothell Business Programme in 2009, Dr. Krishnamurthy’s key objective was to turn the program into a separate school. That occurred in 2012, and a year later, he was appointed founding dean.
Dr. Krishnamurthy has worked at UW Bothell for 25 years, achieving several important goals. He has established himself as a well-known figure on campus and in the local business sector. Some of the top businesspeople from western Washington are on the Dean’s Advisory Board.
His Achievements
Three significant industry conferences have been successful due to his efforts to make the School of Business an important regional partner. All levels of company leaders attend the Accounting Company Conference, Connect – Supply Chain Management Conference, and Pacific Northwest MBA Conference because of the strong business backing and engagement they receive. Additionally, he started three must-attend speaking series: Meet the CEO, Frontiers of Global Business, and Nintex Leadership Breakfast Series.

He organizes an annual gala that attracts over 200 corporate leaders and benefits the School of Corporate’s significant initiatives and student scholarships.
In addition to being a sought-after speaker, Dr. Krishnamurthy has spoken on e-commerce at conferences, workshops, and research gatherings all around the world. In addition to other areas, he has been invited to talk in Portugal, India, Canada, and Taiwan.
