Tyra Sanchez, real name James William Ross IV, is a drag queen and performer from the United States. She rose to popularity after winning the second season of the reality television show “RuPaul’s Drag Race” in 2010. Tyra Sanchez’s drag character is noted for her unique flair, forceful performances, and eye-catching runway outfits. Tyra Sanchez has been an active performer in the drag community since her success on the show.

Details Of Her Arrest

They claim Tyra remained uncooperative when the officer attempted to calm her down. When the police attempted to arrest her, she allegedly threatened to shoot the officer. The cop arrested her in a bear hug and even used a taser, but it had no effect in stopping her.

Tyra then fled the area on foot but was quickly captured. She was later arrested on charges of assault on a law enforcement officer and resisting arrest without violence.

Tyra will be remembered by “RuPaul’s Drag Race” fans as the champion of the show’s second season. She won $25,000 and rose to prominence. She proclaimed her retirement in 2020 but then returned to the public eye, joining the site OnlyFans as “King Tyra” in 2022. Notably, Tyra’s real name, Ross, was arrested in 2020 for spray-painting graffiti in Atlanta, where he inscribed “Don’t Move Here Ever” on the side of an apartment building.

The jump from vandalism to an alleged assault on a police officer is clearly substantial.
