Kevin Costner, a 68-year-old Oscar-winning actor, and his wife, Christine Baumgartner, call it quits after 18 years. Costner’s team confirmed it in a statement shared with The Hollywood Reporter. The message read,
“It is with great sadness that circumstances beyond his control have transpired, which have resulted in Mr. Costner having to participate in a dissolution of marriage action. We ask that his, Christine’s, and their children’s privacy be respected as they navigate this difficult time.”
According to reports, on May 1, 2023, Christine filed the divorce papers stating “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their split.
As per the TMZ reports, both partners are seeking joint custody of their three kids.
